First post: Hello. Happy 2011!

So, here's my first post. I thought I would divide it into two parts, to outline some uninteresting (per the name of my blog) things I think and then to actually get into something a normal blogger would blog about.

Part 1: Here's uninteresting stuff I think.

1. I have lived in Georgia for some time now, so I'm used to not getting snow in the winter. I like to think that if I unplug all my appliances, dim my laptop, and turn off most of the lights, my lack of pollution contribution will encourage it to snow when it's predicted that it may just do so.
2. I have dumped two boyfriends but have been dumped by three. I think that I am losing some kind of game.
3. If I knew how to whistle, I would be safe from the psychos in horror movies. I mean, they can't hurt me if I'm not scared, right? Right. (Obviously.) And what's a better way to show that you don't give a fuck than to whistle while walking about with your hands in your pockets being a badass (or something of the sort)? I can't imagine anything better. Since I can't actually whistle, I think that talking to myself while alone is a good substitute -- and it hasn't failed me yet.
4. British people talk too quietly on TV for me to think their humor is funny, such as on The Office. I rather enjoy having The Office (US) playing in the background while I do homework or play Tetris (jizz!) on the internet, but I can't do that with The Office (UK), because they talk too damn quietly! I think that it might just be that I really fucking hate British humor anyway.
5. I hate dogs. I think they're disgusting. Yep, that's about it.

Part 2: 2011, New Year's plans & resolutions, and other shit.

Today is the last day of the year. For me, it's been another crazy year, and while I have seen and done a lot of exciting things this year, I'm very glad to see it come to a close. 2010 began and is ending on a lackluster note, but I'm hopeful.

I'm trying to come up with some resolutions, and I'm going to come back to this entry if I'm retarded enough to break them. So, to you I proudly present some uninteresting resolutions I have:

1. Drink more water. This has been my resolution for three years now, and I have always kept it. I just wanted to make sure I said it again.
2. No soda, not a drop. This has also been my resolution for three years now, which I kept very strictly the first year, strictly the second year, and somewhat strictly this past year. I want to return to my strict adherence to this resolution, because the year I did it, I kept a healthy weight and felt pretty damn good.
3. Rain or shine, I will get out of the house every single day. This one sounds silly, but I am applying this to days where I'm sick, on my period, getting a lot of work done, cleaning the house, near death, or some combination of the aforementioned. I don't know. I go days without leaving my house during the summer and winter simply due to weather or illness (or, um, not wanting to be seen or not showering), and I don't think that's healthy. Actually, I'm pretty sure it isn't. Thus, no matter what, I will leave my house every single day to get some fresh air, sun, and exercise.
4. Be more sociable. I have a tendency to be mean. I fucking hate people, well, stupid people. Well, no, most people in general. Just especially stupid people.
5. I will finally get my goddamn license!
6. Lastly, I will make all A's spring semester (*ahem*! as I did fall semester) by working hard.

Alright, boring! On to fun shit for New Year's Eve.

Today I'm supposed to hang out with my friends, Luther and Erin (and someone else is supposed to be our fourth, but we haven't exactly figured that out yet), at Luther's house in bumblefuck nowhere: aka Rockmart, GA. I'm not too excited for the terribly long fucking drive, but I am very excited to partake in the margaritas, Jell-O shots, and champagne! Mwahahaha. I believe we also discussed playing pong, but I'm not really sure how we ended up fitting beer into our budget. Actually, beer pong was not specified. I don't want to get shitfaced! I should add something related to my resolutions, then, huh? But sobriety is interesting. I don't know how that interesting thing would fit in with my uninteresting ones. Chillax, though. I don't have a drinking problem. It's just a valid observation, right?

Now, here's the other shit part.

I have to think of something that will make this blog interesting. Whoa, now. Not too interesting, just enough to have a point. I need a gimmick, besides being uninteresting. I gotta figure this out, but for now, I'm going to go pee, watch The Office (US, duh), do some college apps, and pack a bag for this little New Year's get together.

Good noches!

PS. I think this might just be my set-up: I'll come up with 5 uninteresting things I think before getting on to bigger and better things. I just gotta come up with some goddamn bigger and/or better things! Don't hold me to this. I can't deal with that pressure. I think I will include something that is, in fact interesting (!) at the end of each post. Have fun with this one, because it's been keeping my ass up at night for a good few weeks.

Marble Hornets. Scaryyyy, spoooookyyy. Enjoy!
